In case this didn't work on you and completely went over your head, here's a little history. This vocal sample comes from Belgian group Technotronic's1989 hit single, Pump Up The Jam. It was a worldwide hit, and it reached number two in the United Kingdom in 1989 and in the American Billboard Hot 100 in early 1990. The song was later certified triple platinum (by the way, since no one ever explains what this means, triple platinum means that the single sold 3,000,000 units). The song's popularity only grew when parts of the song were sung/played in various popular culture outlets such as an airing of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, an episode of Saturday Night Live, in the movie, Space Jam as well as some video games like Just Dance.

Well today, I introduce you to an up-tempo, big house remix track of "Pump Up The Jam" by producers/DJs Antonio Estrada and Frank Sosa. They call it simply, "Pump."

It definitely will appeal to big house fans, and it got better for me after each listen (I'm not known as the biggest promoter of house music, but I still enjoy it and can get down to it too ; ). This track definitely has the potential be a dance floor hit in clubs across the world!
