So, which one of you is "Dude," and which one of you is "Guy?"

"We actually can't tell you," said Danny (of Dude N Guy) in the most stone-cold-serious way possible. I could tell off the bat that these artists had a funny side.
It doesn't take much research to back up this claim too -
Their "Back Story" on Facebook - "WE LOVE CHEESE"
Their Influences - "#24 at Golden Wok, Hot & Sour soup, tequila and bottled water."
A biography complete with information such as, "Starting out their careers as young Jedi's in a city full of Master Wok's, these two took to the spare bedroom they now call a studio to become certified in body moving."

Their logo is comical as well! Seen on this hat, I can only describe it with a quote from movie comedy, "Sausage Party," - "Just the tip..."
If you get it, you get it. If not, I'm not going to go any further in explanation, haha.
And in case you need a bit more humor for your day...check out their 6-second classic DJ-shower-tutorial:
During my interview, I took the reins of the hilarity sleigh and asked, "I heard you guys met at a Spice Girls Concert in 1996, is that true?"
- Danny replied immediately, "But of course, ("Granted, I was 7"...he said under his breath) Damn, that Posh Spice though, ayy!" he added.

I learned that Kevin (pictured below on the right) of Dude N Guy actually DJ's private gigs such as weddings and other parties about 2-3 times per week, while he performs with his partner Danny (pictured here on the left) as "Dude N Guy" only about twice a month. "I try to stay busy," Kevin added.
As for the best advice they've ever been given, Danny mentioned that it was to simply, "Just keep putting music out." They plan to follow this advice and have tons of tracks in store for us in 2017.
As Dude N Guy, their resume is quite impressive. As far as being an opening act in most gigs, they can't get much more exposure than what they've accomplished. Most recently (last night, 12/29/16), they opened for Eptic and Herobust, and in the past have opened for Marshmello, Getter, and Jauz, just to name a few, as well as performed an early day set at Electric Zoo (New York) in 2015 - check it out! By the way, their set last night was amazing - I was thourouly impressed with not only their choice of tracks, but the transitions in and out of songs was as seamless as can be for a live set!
Check out this original, titled, "Member?" In it they sample from the new season of South Park! It's getting decent exposure on SoundCloud, with almost 20k plays in under a month. The track definitely deserves more attention!! #dubstep
You can catch Dude N Guy perform on New Year's Eve in Jacksonville, FL, or more locally on February 18th and April 22nd in Boston at Club Royale!
Big thanks to NV Concepts for putting the Winter White Tour shows together over the last few years and allowing me the opportunity to interview Dude N Guy.
Thanks to our audience for opening your ears!
PS: We didn't get a picture of Dude N Guy holding a sign for our "Boston is..." segment (more on this in a future post)...but Danny filled in the blank with "Boston is...Mark Walhberg."
