Another “Hero” in the Midst and on his way to the Boston area

I’ll be honest, I had never heard of said, “hero.” But man, to say he’s “busting” into the scene is quite the understatement…
It was the day before Sun City Music Festival 2016, September 2nd, to be precise. We were on the border of Mexico, El Paso, Texas, just after about 6 hours of flying, it was nighttime, and me and my three amigos were looking for a spot to get acquainted with the area (if you know what I mean). We heard from some fellow festival attendees at the motel we were staying at that there was a “festival pre-party” at this local club in downtown. “Who’s playing?” we asked.
…“Herobust.”
Not that we cared that deep into our night and that deep into our livers (if you know what I mean).
So, we went in blind, not really expecting anything spectacular…long story short…this guy THREW DOWN!!! It was the best “warm up” to the festival possible. Some of the drops to his songs were so unique…not like anything I had heard before. “SKUUUUUUUUUURT” …there was this high pitched frequency that just opens your eardrums and tickles your insides at the same time. It was an amazing feeling. The walls shook, people danced, and a new artist was added to my virtual “Must-listen-to-more-List.”
Flash-forward to today and Herobust has entered my life again. He will be performing at a venue in Worcester, MA called the Palladium Here is a link to the Facebook Event brought to us by NV Concepts.
Little do many of these Bostonians know what’s in store for them. One of my friends commented on the event discussion board a few days ago, “I’m not sure if I want to go to this, who’s Herobust?” You see, he hasn’t “blown up” yet…especially in this area, and at the time of this post he has just under 150k likes on Facebook. I hope everyone is ready to #getBUSTED !!
Herobust is a step in the right direction for the Boston area which has been a bit slow to react to the rise of EDM in my opinion (more on this in a future blog post ; ) Our goal here at
M & P Music Discovery is to bring more to Boston as it pertains to the EDM scene. Do your part and help spread the word!
